“HYDROMANIA” WATER PARK RULES AND OFFICIAL PERMITS 

General Rules And Conditions

The Management reserves the right to make changes and/or updates to the Rules and any changes made may be viewed  in the following Regulations.

  1. By purchasing a ticket for entry (ticket, print@home), the customer accepts the following rules and authorizes A.R.IM.SRL to process his/her personal data pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR. Complete privacy information can be found on the website at https://hydromania.it/en/info-tecniche/privacy indemnifying the Company against any type of liability;
  2. The Hydromania Water Park shall not be held liable for accidents and/or damage to people or things caused by the imprudence, negligence and/or inexperience of the patrons and/or failure to comply with the "Rules of the Hydromania Water Park" and/or failure to comply with the rules for the use of individual water and non-water attractions;
  3. In the event of adverse weather conditions, lack of electricity and/or due to any other unforeseeable circumstance and/or force majeure event, the Management may reserve the right to suspend or interrupt the operation of all the attractions and immediately close the Park, requiring the patrons to exit;
  4. The entry ticket entitles the patron to use, without any further charge, all the water and non-water attractions present inside the Park (albeit in compliance with certain restrictions that may be imposed by the specific rules of the individual attractions), with the exception of rental lockers, hair dryers and hot showers;
  5. Management reserves the right to bar patrons from entering the Park in the event there is a legitimate reason to forbid their entry into the Park;
  6. Management reserves the right to remove from the Park, without refunding the ticket price, any patron who causes damage to the structures of the Park, who engages in behavior that is harassing, threatening, violent, abusive and/or in violation of the law, who is found without a valid entry ticket, or who does not comply with the Park regulations and the rules of the individual attractions. In these cases, Management reserves the right to request the immediate intervention of law enforcement authorities and to file a complaint with the appropriate authorities.
  7. Children under 12 years of age may not enter the Park unless accompanied by an adult; during their entire stay in the Park, children under the age of 12 must always be under the guidance and control of an adult. For the safety of all patrons there are lifeguards and the Park's staff, who however are not to be considered a substitute for the constant supervision of children under the age of 12, which is the responsibility of their adult companion;
  8. The Park and its Management are not liable for any theft and/or damage to cars, motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, etc. or of any objects that are inside them as the parking is not guarded;
  9. Inside the Park, each patron should behave in a manner that is in keeping with public decorum and respects the rules of civil coexistence with other patrons;
  10.  The use of headphones is not required;
  11. Entry tickets may not be refunded or exchanged for any reason except in the event of situations that prevent the Management from opening the Park, in which case customers who purchased a ticket in advance will be entitled to a new ticket for a subsequent date. Please ask the ticket office for more information. In the event of an extraordinary circumstance which entails the need to interrupt all the services and attractions of the Park, the Management will not even partially refund the ticket price to the patrons;
  12. Hydromania Park is a green oasis, and patrons are requested to respect nature and use the waste collection bins;
  13. The entry ticket must be kept for the entire time patrons are in the Park and shown when requested by the Park's staff;
  14. If a patron must exit the Park temporarily, he/she must request a pass at the entrance;
  15. Any unattended or lost items should be handed over to the Park Management;
  16. Eyeglasses and any accessories (chains, watches, piercings, hair clips, bracelets, rings, jewels, mobile phones, cameras, etc.) must be removed before entering each attraction. The Park's staff are not allowed to hold patrons' items and/or personal belongings. In the event that the Staff does not follow this instruction, the Management will not be liable for any loss and/or damage.
  17. The Management is not responsible for the theft of objects and any effects left unattended or deposited in the lockers such as, for example, money, jewelry, watches, cell phones, documents and electronic components of all kinds, clothes, bags, etc. Patrons must comply with the specific regulation posted on the lockers shown below:
    1. This locker is rented for use for one day;
    2. Do not place objects inside the cabinet without having fully read the instructions for use;
    3. be careful not to be observed when entering the secret code;
    4. the box may be opened and closed up to 30 times a day;
    5. after 10 incorrect attempts to enter the pin, the box locks automatically;
    6. The area is under CCTV surveillance; At the end of the rental, completely empty the locker;
    7. Do not use easy-to-guess security codes, such as 123456;
    8. When the control unit is in use by another customer,
    9. keep a minimum safety distance of 2 meters;
    10. It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the control units, steal the security code or force the locks; offenders will be reported to the appropriate authorities;
    11. For any problem, please contact the Management;
  18. Management is not responsible for any loss and/or theft of objects left unattended inside the Park;
  19. The Management gives notice that it is forbidden to sell or distribute without permission free tickets, discount vouchers or tickets for admission to the Water Park in the private parking area or in front of the "Hydromania" ticket offices; moreover it is forbidden to simulate the constitution of pairs of people in the areas in front of the ticket offices and the parking lot as well as inside the Park in order to take advantage of any promotions and/or discounts. Violators will be reported to the appropriate authorities;
  20. Children up to 1.00 m in height (including shoes and slippers) are entitled to free admission;
  21. Children under the age of 12 (with proof) and with a height of less than 1.50 m are entitled to a discount entry ticket;
  22. People over the age of 75 are entitled to a discount on the ticket price; please ask at the ticket office;
  23. People with disabilities and handicapped individuals are entitled to a discount on the ticket price; please ask at the ticket office;
  24. Access to the attractions may be interrupted before their actual closing time (with reference to both the closing time for the lunch break and the final daily closing time), in order to allow for the complete and gradual outflow from waiting queues;
  25. All slides, pools and water attractions will be closed at least 30 minutes before the closing time of the Park;
  26. Video surveillance systems are active inside the Park for the sole purpose of supervising the safety and protection of the patrons; the images will be viewed exclusively by Park security personnel, judicial or police authorities; Complete privacy information is available on the website at https://www.hydromania.it/download/
  27. Tickets for entry are valid only on the date or period indicated which cannot be changed for any reason. Access to the Park will be granted only on the day or period shown on the ticket. Pursuant to Article 59 of the Legislative Decree of Feb. 21, 2014 no. 21, the right of withdrawal does not apply to agreements for the supply of services relating to accommodation, transport, catering, leisure, when, upon stipulation of the agreement, the supplier agrees to provide such services on a specific date or in a specified period.  The ticket is an access pass relevant for tax purposes and therefore includes VAT;
  28. Patrons, their clothing, bags, sacks, backpacks and any other container may be subject to inspections for security reasons both at the entrance, before entering the Park, and inside the Park. Inspections for security reasons means a check for the sole purpose of ascertaining the possible presence of objects potentially capable of offending or harming the safety of others and/or for damaging goods and things;
  29. By requesting access to the Park and/or by purchasing an entry ticket, the patron unconditionally agrees to inspections for security reasons being performed on his/her person, clothes, backpacks, containers, bags or other objects belonging to him/her in compliance with the law and the provisions of these Rules. The Management reserves the right to forbid entry to patrons who do not give their consent to the aforementioned checks;
  30. Please consider the following criteria when choosing clothing; no refunds or discounts will be given to patrons who are unable to use the pools and slides due to inappropriate swimming attire. ACCESS TO THE POOLS AREA is allowed wearing SWIMWEAR, SHORTS AND T-SHIRTS MADE OF MICROFIBER OR POLYESTER ONLY. The use of the slides is allowed only with a bathing suit, any other garment is prohibited; it is also forbidden to wear necklaces, watches, glasses, bracelets, hair clips, piercings, earrings, diving masks, goggles and swimming shoes;
  31. Before purchasing a ticket, it is the duty of the patron to be informed of any issues relating to the influx of people and climatic and meteorological conditions that might limit or exclude the usability of one or more attractions and the general use of the Park and/or its related services;
  32. Some attractions may not be usable due to maintenance needs, and similarly, in the event of adverse weather conditions, access to some attractions may be suspended for safety reasons. In both cases no refunds will be given for tickets, not even partial;
  33. The umbrellas located on the lawns, without sunbeds or other furniture, are available free of charge subject to availability.
  34. The Relax and Gold Areas are areas with numbered seats, accessible only to holders of the respective Relax or Gold tickets. The Relax or Gold ticket must be requested at the ticket office or online on the website www.hydromania.it at the time of purchase of the ticket which allows access to the Park. After purchasing a standard ticket, it is possible to pay an additional amount to UPGRADE for the Relax or Gold area, based on availability. The numbered seats may be selected directly at the ticket offices at the time of purchase, or on the website www.hydromania.it, and may not be changed after purchase;
  35. Some areas of the Park and/or attractions may open later than others;
  36. Patrons are required to enter the swimming pools and attractions through the special "footwash" passage areas and showers for hygiene reasons.
  37. Baby diapers are not permitted in pools and attractions except for water specific diapers;
  38.  Management reserves the right to limit and/or exclude, at any time, individual patrons from using any type of attraction due to improper behavior and/or non-compliance with the rules of use of the attraction and/or potential danger to himself/herself and/or to other patrons;
  39. The Park's staff is authorized to intervene at any time and enforce compliance with this regulation;
  40. Patrons are required to follow all instructions provided by the Park's staff, by Lifeguards, and the rules for the use of each single attraction and to comply with the indications on the billboards displayed inside the Park;
  41.  All the rules for use displayed on each attraction and on each starting point of the slides and water slides must be followed in order to use them properly and to ensure the safety of all users;
  42. For safety reasons some slides of the attractions may have particular restrictions that are there to ensure the safety of the users;
  43. Users must exit the pools immediately when a storm approaches;
  44. Any accidents occurring inside the Aquatic Park should be immediately reported to the qualified personnel at the Park's medical center. They will provide assistance and offer free First Aid to the injured person, and assess the seriousness of the accident. A report will be drawn up in the medical center which will contain the statements of the injured person and any witnesses. The injured person must personally sign the report. False statements will be prosecuted;
  45. On days with gusts of wind, umbrellas must remain closed to ensure user safety.
  46. Patrons must comply with all instructions given by the Park's staff;

 


Prohibitions

  1. Patrons are not permitted to move about and/or stay in the swimming pools and nearby areas without a bathing suit or wearing only underwear.  Bathing suits worn for access to the swimming pools must be in keeping with the common sense of decency. Undergarments of any material other than microfiber and polyester may not be worn under or in place of the swimsuit. In the aforementioned areas, patrons are required to behave within the common sense of decency and comply with basic hygiene principles;
  2. Smoking is prohibited in the access and waiting areas of the attractions, on the attractions themselves, and in all places where it is expressly forbidden, for example: ticket offices and entrance area, in the bathrooms, refreshment points, infirmary;
  3. It is forbidden to bring in any illicit and/or harmful substance, glass containers of any kind, umbrellas, deckchairs, tables, chairs, stoves, dangerous objects (in particular any offensive or defensive weapon, regardless of its category and use) and any object deemed by the Management to be inappropriate and/or dangerous;
  4. It is forbidden to film and photograph during animated games, group dances and Park staff;
  5. For safety reasons, selfie sticks or other similar devices used to support cameras, cell phones or other technological devices are not permitted on any attraction;
  6. Animals are not permitted to enter the Aquatic Park; only guide dogs for the visually impaired are allowed to enter, with the exception of the swimming pool areas and waterfront areas;
  7. Access to areas and/or sectors of the Park forbidden to the public and/or reserved exclusively for Park staff or used for special organized events is strictly prohibited;
  8. The areas reserved for the waterslide facilities may not be used for picnics;
  9. Do not enter the waterline areas with shoes;
  10. Do not walk in the flowerbeds where indicated;
  11. Do not use soaps and/or shampoos in the showers located by the pool, including those in the equipped areas of the waterslides;
  12. Do not place sunbeds and deckchairs or other furniture on the lawns;
  13. Do not climb on the artificial rocks;
  14. Do not climb over any kind of fence;
  15. Patrons should not open their mouths when under the jet of the foam machine in order to prevent respiratory system irritation problems;
  16. Do not attempt to skip ahead in waiting queues or to hold a place for other people in the queues. Patrons who violate this rule may be removed from the Park. Patrons may not leave a queue and return to the same place for any reason;
  17. Do not attempt to occupy places (sunbeds and umbrellas) without having purchased the relevant access pass or to occupy a greater number of or different places than those indicated on the access pass in one's possession, validated for that date. Management reserves the right to remove any object placed in the location (sunbed and umbrella) that does not have the right to be there. Patrons may recover their removed objects by asking the Park Staff.
  18. Do not wear glass diving masks, sunglasses or glasses (whether glass or plastic), inside the pools. In the case of plastic material, the Management reserves the right to make exceptions;
  19. Individuals with wounds, abrasions, lesions or skin alterations caused by infectious diseases (for example warts, dermatitis, fungal infections, etc.) may not access the pools or the attractions. Access to the swimming pools will be denied by Security personnel. Any user with these skin symptoms may only access the swimming pools and attractions by showing a medical certificate stating that the pathology is compatible with swimming in a public place;
  20. It is strictly forbidden to enter the swimming pools in a psychophysical state altered by the use of alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs, etc.;
  21. Do not spit into the water in the pools, introduce liquids of any kind, urinate, defecate or cleanse any wound inside the pools; do not dive into the water if one or more parts of the body is/are covered with oils, creams and similar substances of any kind;
  22. No running, especially by the pool.
  23. Do not push against or bump into other people in the swimming pools;
  24. Balls and rackets are not allowed in the swimming pools or at the water's edge;
  25. Do not dive into the pools;
  26. Use of the water slides in the Park is forbidden for heart patients, pregnant women, those suffering from epilepsy or claustrophobia and for anyone with ailments that might be aggravated by this type of ride; it is also forbidden for disabled people, handicapped people and non-self-sufficient people, unless otherwise assessed by the Management;
  27. It is strictly forbidden to use the slides and the water slides in a psychophysical state altered by the use of alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs, etc.;
  28. Do not use the slides and waterslides wearing T-shirts, tank tops or any other garment other than just a bathing suit; moreover, while using the slides and waterslides it is forbidden to wear necklaces, watches, glasses, bracelets, hair clips, piercings, earrings, diving masks, goggles and swimming shoes, unless otherwise assessed by the Management;
  29. Do not go down the slides and waterslides at the same time as another person and avoid pushing against and/or bumping into people when leaving the slides and waterslides;
  30. The use of water wings is not permitted on the waterslides named Treccia and Kamikaze.
  31. Slides are closed from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm to allow the Staff a lunch break.

Dual Spin Bowl

  1. Users must use the two-seater raft in a lying position facing forwards, gripping the special safety handles. Do not take your hands off of these handles until the end of the ride;
  2. The lighter person must ride in the FRONT of the raft;
  3. The heavier person must ride in the REAR of the raft;
  4. Weight limits must be followed and users are required to stand on the scales in order to assess their suitability for the ride. Use of the ride is restricted to compliance with the following:
  5. THE COMBINED TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE CREW MADE UP OF THE 2 USERS MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 220 KG;
  6. THE COMBINED TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE CREW COMPOSED OF 2 USERS MUST NOT BE LESS THAN 100 KG;
  7. USERS MUST WEIGHT AT LEAST 35 KG;
  8. USERS MUST NOT WEIGH MORE THAN 120 KG;
  9. THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WEIGHT OF THE CREW COMPOSED OF THE 2 USERS MUST NOT BE GREATER THAN 50 KG;
  10. It is required to wait for the "green light" from the staff present at the start to get on the raft;
  11. For safety reasons during the descent users must follow all instructions given by the personnel in charge, who will indicate the raft position (front or rear) to the user based on the body mass criterion, for this purpose users will be weighed on a special scale placed near the starting area and the operator will check that they meet the ride's requirements;
  12. Once the descent on the slide has begun and during the entire ride (including the splashdown phase in the pool), users must maintain their original position;
  13. Upon arrival in the slide's landing pool, users must wait for the raft to come to a complete stop before getting off, and then take it out and place it in the collection area to be ready for use by other users;
  14. Users must leave the landing area immediately;
  15. Children less than 1.20 meters tall may not use the slide;
  16. Users must not spin the raft while on the ride;
  17. People with delicate health conditions may not use the ride - Please contact the staff;
  18. No standing;
  19. No clinging to the edges of the slide
  20. No jewelry or piercings;
  21. No running up the slide ladder;
  22. No riding without a raft;
  23. After placing the raft in the collection area, promptly queue up at the start of the attraction without stopping, in order to allow all patrons to easily use the ride.
  24. The slide landing pool is 0.20 meters deep.

Wave Ride Rules

  22. In the event the raft fails to go over the final elevation, the users should dismount and head towards the side opposite the tube opening and exit using the small ladder.
  23. The slide landing pool is 0.20 meters deep.
  24. After placing the raft in the collection area, promptly queue up at the start of the attraction without stopping, in order to allow all patrons to easily use the ride.

K2 Slide Rules

  1. The Management recommends that users maintain the proper position from the start of the slide until the end in the landing pool.
  2. Height: to use the attraction you must at least 1.20 meters tall.
  3. Please follow all instructions from lifeguards.


Black Hole and Big River Adventures Slide Rules

  1. The Management recommends that users maintain the proper position from the start of the slide until the end in the landing pool.
  2. Please follow all instructions from lifeguards.
  3. Two-seater raft:at least one of the two occupants of the raft must be at least 1.20 meters tall.
  4. Single-seater raft: the occupant must be at least 1.20 m tall
  5. The use of water wings is permitted.
  6. Both raft occupants must wait in the queue for the ride.

Kids' Lagoon Slides

  1. Slides in the Kids' Lagoon/Laguna Bimbi area may be used by children up to 10 years of age

  • Fixed-term permit issued by the Director in charge of the Cultural Activities Department of Rome Capital for the activity of the Aquatic Park with reference to articles 68 and 80 of the T.U.L.P.S.
  • Health and Hygiene Assessment for the six Outdoor Pools and a balance tank serving the two attractions "Wave Ride, Dual Spin Bowl", present in the Park, this assessment is issued by Local Health Authority (USL) in Rome / C, PAAP Service, with ref. Region Council Resolution (DGR) no. 407 of July 11, 2006, Circulars of the Ministry of Health no. 128 of July 16, 1971 and no. 35 of June 15, 1972 and also Circular of the Ministry of the Interior no. 16 of Feb. 15, 1951, as well as any further regulation - prescription - ordinance established by the Health Authority with local jurisdiction for the safeguarding and protection of Public Health and Hygiene

The water slides present in the "Hydromania" Water Park have been designed, installed, tested and regulated for their functionality with reference to the current regulations EN 1069 1-2 version of October 2017 , safety requirements and test methods;

  • UNI 10637, version of December 2016 No. 15288-1/2 for the operation of the aquatic part (tanks and connected plumbing systems);
  • Ministerial Decree of May 18, 2017, safety standards (implementation of the European reference directive).The water slides have been regulated with identification codes as required by the Ministerial Decree of May 18, 2007 articles 4 and 5, by type of attraction set out in the ministerial list of Cultural Assets for Moving Entertainment Art.4 of Law 337/68.
